Hello friends, patrons and supporters!

We are excited to share that the Folding Chair Coven will hold its inaugural show Coven: Beyond Borders, organized by member Gina-Marie Cincinnati (US/JP/UK) in Brighton, UK in October 2025.

The exhibition will feature art from Coven members Cecilia Acevedo, Yoni Chepisheva, Gina-Marie Cincinnati, Lula Cornejo, Claudia Dieguez, Naomi Freedman, Benazir Ihsan, Andrea Latorre Orfebre, Velimna, and Nicoles Youness. These artists represent Argentina, Chile, Italy, Lebanon, Malaysia, the UK and the USA.

We are so proud of the diversity that will be on display and in attendance, and excited to make a name for ourselves without the bounds and constraints put on us by others in the art world.

Our show will take place alongside (and upstairs from) a series of performances by the Savage Heart Theatre Company, in an event called Dark Bites. From the Regency Town House’s website: Step inside the shadowy halls of The Regency Town House, where each room reveals a new tale and something lurking just beyond the light. Expect the unexpected as you’re drawn deeper into a world of strange characters, flickering candlelight, and secrets waiting to reveal themselves. This chilling journey through one of Brighton’s most atmospheric buildings ends with a final tale in the unforgettably eerie basement of No.10 Brunswick Square.
